Although they usually have travel- or corporate insurance, finding a reliable medical provider in a foreign country has always been a difficult issue, even in an emergency situation.

SOS Hungary is a licensed medical provider, and its foreign language speaking staff can be alerted 24 hours a day. Moreover, the quality of our services and the up to date medical devices, as well as our medical facility are regularly monitored by our Insurance partners. That’s why, SOS Hungary was selected as a local medical provider by almost all the major Insurance companies.

SOS Hungary has a daily working connection with more than 70 Insurance and Assistance companies all over the word. Most of them have an agreement with our company, so the fee for the SOS medical treatment  will be directly charged to the Insurance company.

The most frequently requested medical services are: home visit, arranging an appointment with a specialist, hospitalisation.

The expatriates often need technical help, too. When they have a breakdown far from the Capital, it could be a huge problem, mainly because of the language barrier.

But this should not be a problem for you since the SOS Alarmcentre can provide immediate technical help as well.

Our service is available for SOS members only. Therefore it is a good idea to buy membership card (see membership details) first, when you have arrived to Hungary.
