Any time, when a foreign tourist or expatriate needs medical help or consultation, they might have a problem: where can they find a reliable medical facility which meets their expectations and whose fee of treatment will be covered by the Insurance Company at home?

SOS HUNGARY offers a good solution: just a simple call, and our Alarmcentre will send an English-speaking doctor or an ambulance, with doctor on board. The doctor offers a treatment at home, or arranges the hospitalisation in the best hospital available.


If the patient needs a specialist, our medical staff arranges an appointment with the English-speaking doctor, monitors the treatment and takes care of the patient’s transport.

In the same time, our call-center contacts the patient’s home Insurance Company. The SOS doctor informs the physician of the Insurance Company, providing him/her a detailed, and state-of-art medical report. Due to our professional information, the Insurance Company covers the fee of treatment or, alternatively, it covers the cost of repatriation home.
